In November we kick off with our series of tastings and clay workshops.

​

This one is a super fun event designed by Corina, co-owner of The Clay Table, and Cristina Andriescu, owner of the wine business Roemwijn. 

 

Corina and Cristina are both Romanians long living in The Hague and wanted to put together a special event showcasing ceramics and premium Romanian wines.

 

Join us for a delightful Sunday afternoon which will get you to unwind, learn something new, and appreciate rich ceramics and wine traditions.

 

You will be making: a set of two small plates inspired by old Romanian traditional ceramics making. You will be working with red clay and learn to decorate with engobes.

 

You will be tasting: 5 premium wines, including Romania’s pride Feteasca Neagră, paired with Romanian appetisers

Cristina is the owner of Roemwijn and WSET Level 3 certificate holder from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust. She is importer and proud promoter of high-quality Romanian wines in the Netherlands. Romanian wines share the stage with old-world wine giants like French, Italian, Spanish, and German wines.

All pieces will be dried and bisque fired at The Clay Table, glazed by our team and fired a second time. The finished pottery vessels will be food-safe and ready for pick up within 4 weeks from the date of the workshop.

To receive a full* refund or to reschedule your booking, you must notify info@theclaytable.nl at least 14 days prior to the session you have booked. Within 14 days of the scheduled workshop, there will be no refunds for cancellations or no-shows.*Minus a 10€ administrations cost fee.
