Service Description

Join us at The Clay Table, a pottery studio in Scheveningen, The Hague, for our popular Thursday evening course Wheel Throwing All Levels with professional potter and teacher Alice Lamarque Foray. Our Classic courses have longer classes of 2.5 hours, so you get more time at the wheel in every session, more practice and faster progress. In this 7-week pottery course, beginners learn the basics of throwing on the potter's wheel: wedging, centring and shaping cups and bowls, and are introduced to glazing. Students with more experience refine their technique and make more ambitious ceramic pieces, such as vases, lidded pots and candlesticks. Embrace your creativity and connect with fellow clay enthusiasts! 7 sessions, each lasting 2.5 hours (including 15 minutes for cleaning). Create several pieces, up to 2 kg (additional pieces: €15/kg). The last session is the glazing class; your pieces are ready for pickup from Saturday 9 January. Language: English and/or French. Min. 5 participants, max. 7. Experience the joy of pottery making in a welcoming, friendly environment with highly skilled and generous teachers!
