Service Description

Join us at The Clay Table, a pottery studio in Scheveningen, The Hague, for our Wednesday morning course Wheel Throwing All Levels with professional potter and teacher Alice Lamarque Foray. In this compact 7-week pottery course in a small group, beginners learn the basics of throwing on the potter's wheel: wedging, centring and shaping cups and bowls, and are introduced to glazing. Students with more experience improve their technique and work on their own ceramic projects, such as vases, lidded pots and larger bowls. Embrace your creativity and connect with fellow clay enthusiasts! 7 sessions, each lasting 2 hours (including 15 minutes for cleaning). Create several pieces, up to 2 kg (additional pieces: €15/kg). The last session is the glazing class; your pieces are ready for pickup from Saturday 9 January. Language: English and/or French. Min. 4 participants, max. 7. Experience the joy of pottery making in a welcoming, friendly environment with highly skilled and generous teachers!
